Industrial electrical training for plant electricians

Industrial electrical work is mostly three-phase power, motors, and the control circuits that start and stop them, done safely around energized equipment. ForgeLine's Electrical path takes a plant electrician from prints and safety through motor controls, VFDs, testing, and power quality. The Electrical path is free.

Safety first, and specific

Every electrical course assumes your site's program applies. Electrical Safety & Arc Flash Awareness and Electrical Safety Programs & NFPA 70E Application cover establishing an electrically safe work condition, reading arc-flash labels, test-before-touch with a verified meter, and why "it's only 120 V control" is not a safety plan. Training does not replace site LOTO or qualification.

Core skills on the Electrical path

A troubleshooting method you can defend

Electrical Troubleshooting Methodology teaches a repeatable sequence: confirm the complaint, check the print, measure at the half-split point, isolate the faulted section, fix the cause, and verify under load. Write each reading down so the fix can be explained later, not just believed.

Next steps

Electricians moving toward controls continue into PLC training and I&E technician training (Premium, $19.99/month). For crews, the 30-day free company trial includes 5 online seats; on-site cohorts are available through on-site training.

Training is educational. It does not replace your site's lockout/tagout, permits, PPE, or required licenses. Certificates of completion go in the file. They are not a license.
